Stela Ziaj is currently a post-CCT Mohs Micrographic Surgery Fellow at Oxford University Hospitals.
She graduated in Medicine from University College London where she also undertook an intercalated BSc in Molecular Medicine. Further on she went to do her core medical training at Imperial College Healthcare NHS where she obtained her MRCP.
She trained in dermatology at St Johns Institute of Dermatology, Guy’s and St Thomas’ and The Welsh Institute of Dermatology, Cardiff. She also has received training in the USA and Europe. During her training she has been extensively involved in research and has delivered over 35 presentations nationally and internationally. These have culminated in multiple prizes including the UK National Arthritis Research Prize, British Association of Dermatology Dermatopathology Prize, American Academy of Dermatology Fellowship and World Congress of Dermatology Fellowship Prize.
Further on she has been involved in recruiting patients in multiple national dermatology clinical trials and is part of the UK Dermatology Clinic trial network trials. She has taught on the Masters course in Dermatology both at Kings College and Cardiff University where she also is an examiner.
