Dr Jill Halstead-Rastrick is an Advanced Musculoskeletal Podiatrist at Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust and is currently funded part-time via the NIHR HEE post-doctoral bridging fund. She holds a visiting research fellow title at the Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine.
Jill has degrees in Sport & Exercise Science (BSc 2000), Podiatry (BSc 2003), Health Research (MSc 2008) and a PhD (2013). Jill has published her work investigating the efficacy of foot orthoses and gait analysis of people with foot pain and osteoarthritis. She is also a leading expert in MRI and foot pain, she published the first foot osteoarthritis MRI score in 2017. Jill regularly provides educational lectures to a wide range of health professionals and physicians.
