35,000 Feet. What’s Stopping you Landing? SAS/Specialty Doctor Transformation Development Programme
Saturday 9 October -
Many doctors from other countries find that when they arrive, they struggle with life and work in the new country. Challenges around fitting in everyday when faced with fear of the unknown, feelings of dislocation from family and friends and being in a different country can overwhelm them. The role of organisations can be to identify the challenges for cross-culturally trained doctors in the UK and to create programmes that accurately address these and offer support over the longer term to create a better landing.
People that could benefit from this programme are International Medical Graduates, Associate Specialist/SAS/Specialty Doctors and other incoming clinicians.
