We have all had those moments when an interaction has got to the point where it might be better described as conflict rather than communication! This session is aiming to give you the tools to manage those interactions so that they are better for all involved. We will look at assertive communication as a balance of valuing your needs and their needs. We will consider how to prepare yourself for better interactions and how to handle ones that have gone wrong. This interactive session will also share lessons from negotiation theory and influencing skills to help you improve the quality of your communications, no matter what level you are.
