All content available in the virtual platform will remain accessible for 6 months after the event.

Key topics to be covered include:

Career Essentials
Featuring sessions on writing an eye-catching CV, interview skills and more, our career essentials stream will help you analyse what’s on offer and present yourself as the best candidate for the position.

Personal development (including time management, leadership skills and more)
Our live and on-demand personal development sessions will help you take control and maximise your effectiveness. Join these sessions to learn practical tips on managing your workload, leading a team and tackling burnout.

Relocating in the UK or abroad
Our relocation seminar sessions will explore the opportunities for moving within the UK and abroad, including what roles are on offer, the logistics involved and the benefits.

Building a portfolio career / doing things differently
Following a non-traditional career path can be daunting, but the rewards in work-life balance and career progression can be substantial. In these online sessions, you’ll hear from clinicians who have done things differently and can help you get started with less than full-time roles, portfolio careers and more.

Clinical webinars
Earn CPD points by attending our free clinical webinars, which will keep you up-to-date with the latest guidelines, evidence, and best practice across a range of core topics. All sessions will include live Q&A time with the experts.

Keynote presentations
COVID-19 has presented health and care workers with the biggest challenge for a generation. Our live keynote sessions will feature leading experts from UK healthcare who will discuss how we move forward from the crisis stronger than before.

International Medical Graduates Programme – NEW for 2020
This year we are excited to welcome International Medical Graduates to BMJ Live, offering support for your journey to work as a doctor in the UK, from presenting yourself as the best candidate for the position to succeeding in your role. On Saturday 17 October, join our live virtual sessions at 09:00-10:30 on ‘A guide to working in the UK for IMGs‘, where you can hear expert advice and get your questions answered.

PLUS AN INTERACTIVE LIVE EXHIBITION
Attend our virtual exhibition and meet our exhibitors who will be available for live chat. The fully interactive exhibition allows you to meet with key organisations looking to recruit doctors. Find out more about the positions on offer and what your options are, or discuss your career options. You’ll have the chance to join one-to-one live video chats with recruiters and representatives, and we’ll also have a jobs board, so you can explore real-time vacancies. Meet the exhibitors.
